Steal An Egg Cricket Banjo: Mushroom Puzzle and Jitterbug Egg

Follow the reported hidden-room route, solve your own mushroom sequence, and collect the Cricket Banjo and Jitterbug Egg.

Quick answer

Unlock the Enchanted Tree through Wisp, reach the hidden mushroom room, repeat the sequence shown in your own room, and speak to Jitterbug. October 4–5 guides report a Cricket Banjo and Jitterbug Egg reward; there is no verified universal color code.

Unlock access before searching for the puzzle

Complete the active Wisp objectives and use Return the Wisp before interacting with the sealed Tree. The latest route guides commonly use 50B as the planning target; keep the conflicting Speed and counter reports in the Wisp guide visible.

Reach the hidden portal

  1. Inside the Tree, climb the spiral path toward its upper platform.
  2. Find the separate lower landing described by the route guides; it is not simply the main ramp you climbed.
  3. Drop onto that landing, walk to its end and enter the portal below.
  4. Confirm you arrived in the mushroom room before trying a puzzle sequence.

Solve the pattern you are shown

AllThings. How describes a sequence that grows through the room’s own clues and can differ by player. Follow the note or glow, retain the earlier colors as the sequence grows, and repeat the current sequence. A wrong input can reset it. A fixed sequence taken from another guide is not established for your room.

Collect both rewards and keep the Banjo

The reports identify Jitterbug as the banjo-playing NPC in the band room. Interacting grants the Cricket Banjo and Jitterbug Egg. Keep the Banjo for the separate bridge step; reaching the band alone does not open the fusion room.

Check your inventory for the tool and the Egg separately. A reward popup is useful confirmation of the interaction, but it does not establish an income rate or the full fusion recipe. Preserve the Egg until its placement, hatch and mutation prompts are clear.

Common questions

What is the mushroom puzzle code?

A universal code is not established. Read and repeat the sequence in your own room.

Is collecting the Banjo the final fusion-room step?

No. Return to the upper Tree and play it at the bridge location.
