Steal An Egg Vault Parts: Lost Parts, Drones and Scrambler
Use the two part counters to identify the missing task rather than searching for a nonexistent guaranteed third world pickup.
The September vault guide describes five parts: two fixed Lost Parts and three Drone Parts from random drops. It places Nibbles and the vault route in an Abyss Ocean cave and reports the Scrambler bat as the repair reward. If the third Drone Part is missing, the evidence supplies no guaranteed location, drop rate or pity rule.
Read which part counter is incomplete
AllThingsHow’s September 24 guide distinguishes the two fixed pickups from three random Drone Parts. It describes checking Lost Parts 2/2 and Drone Parts 3/3 before claiming the vault reward. The missing third Drone Part is a random-drop problem in that report, not a third fixed world location.

| Part type | Reported source | How to check progress |
|---|---|---|
| Lost Part | Volcano structure | Lost Parts counter increases |
| Lost Part | Prehistoric bush near sleeping T-Rex | Lost Parts counter reaches the required total |
| Drone Parts | Random drops from Dr. Scramble drones | Drone Parts counter, not the fixed-pickup map |
Plan the quest in two stages
The older vault guide places the entrance on the left side of an Abyss Ocean rock wall and says to speak with Nibbles inside. The newer Dr. Scramble report identifies Nibbles as Experiment #013. This is the quest character named in these reports; do not assume that any shop item with a related experiment name starts the same quest.
- Check that the event quest and Nibbles route still exist in your session.
- Read the vault’s current fixed-part and drone-part counters.
- Collect an available fixed pickup only if its counter is incomplete.
- During active drone waves, check whether a drop changes the Drone Parts counter.
- Return to the quest interface after both requirements are complete and inspect the claim prompt.
Do not repeat a fixed pickup simply because the other counter remains unfinished. Record the counter before and after a run; a Sample reward and a Drone Part are separate outcomes. If the counter does not change, that observation is useful even when the wave gave other rewards.
The third Drone Part has no verified shortcut here
Several waves without the final part do not reveal its drop chance. The collected evidence does not establish a specific best drone, a guaranteed number of kills or a pity threshold. Keep a small log of attempts and outcomes if you are comparing routes, and account for access and travel time.
What the Scrambler reward establishes
The source describes the claimed item as a bat. A successful quest claim would establish that you received the item, but its name does not reveal every special function. Check its current description and use behavior before treating it as a key, a special boss counter or a permanent damage upgrade.
The route is a dated report. Current availability, exact pickup access, drop rules and the Scrambler’s special use remain unverified.
Common questions
Why isn't the third Drone Part dropping for the vault quest?
The guide distinguishes two fixed Lost Parts and three random Drone Parts. No guaranteed third Drone Part location, drop rate or pity rule is established.
What does the Scrambler bat do after I unlock it?
The guide identifies it as the vault’s bat reward. Its current special uses are unresolved; inspect the item and test the specific function you need.
