Steal An Egg Pets: Choose a Useful Egg Pool for Your Budget

A pet-selection guide focused on an obtainable next upgrade rather than an unsupported universal ranking.

Quick answer

Choose a pet pool you can reach and return from reliably, then compare the likely gain against your current active pets and collection goal. The reviewed rosters use different dates and counting scopes. They do not establish one complete current pool or a universally best egg for every budget.

Define what “best” means for your next session

A higher-income pet, a missing Index entry and a partner for fusion solve different problems. Start with one objective. For income, compare the pet that would enter your active set with the one it would replace. For collection, prioritize the missing species and relevant egg pool. For fusion, obtain the exact eligible inputs rather than merely a matching rarity.

Why a pet total needs a scope

The community Wiki distinguishes configured entries from pets listed in the Index. Eldorado’s October 1 roster includes later additions and reports a different overall total. Those totals can differ because of release date, special versions or collection scope. Read the entries and acquisition route, not just the headline number.

Compare an egg run with the pet it might replace

  1. Read your active set and identify the lowest-value pet for the goal you chose.
  2. Select a reachable egg pool and record the available outcome information.
  3. Estimate the travel and hatch time using your own session, including failed returns.
  4. Compare plausible outcomes with the pet you would replace, keeping mutation and boost states consistent.
  5. After the hatch, check the actual pet’s displayed rate before changing the active set.

Suppose an active pet earns 100 units per second and a new hatch earns 150 in the same conditions. Replacing it adds 50 per second, not 150. If you instead have an unused slot, the added rate can be the full 150. This hypothetical comparison explains why base capacity changes the value of the same hatch; it does not predict an egg’s outcome.

When the pool or price is unclear

Keep the next run small until the interface identifies the egg and its route. A limited shop offer, a world spawn and a boss reward are separate acquisition paths even when a guide lists them together. If the desired egg is absent, verify whether the source describes an old event before planning around it.

Roster boundary

This article does not reproduce a complete current pet list or claim the highest-income pet in the game. Those promises need a version-matched catalog and comparable rates.

Common questions

Which pets are best for income at my current stage?

There is no universal best egg established for your budget. Choose a reachable pool and compare the resulting pet with your current active set under the same conditions.
