Steal An Egg Trails: Multipliers and Upgrade Comparison

Compare reported Trail multipliers with a treadmill upgrade using gain per cost and time to your next Speed target.

Quick answer

A dated AllThings. How guide describes Trails as multipliers on treadmill gains. Compare the extra measured Speed per second per unit of cost, using your current Trail and treadmill as the baseline. Source-reported values are not a current shop quote.

Compare the gain, not the larger multiplier

Suppose base training is 1,000 Speed/s and the current Trail is 1.2×. Changing to 1.5× adds 300/s. A treadmill upgrade adding 200/s before the existing 1.2× Trail adds 240/s. At equal prices the Trail adds more immediate training; at twice the price it adds less per unit of cash.

Estimate time to one target

If 600,000 Speed remains and current effective training is 1,200/s, the constant-rate estimate is 500 seconds. At 1,500/s it is 400 seconds: 100 seconds saved. The example excludes boosts, interruptions and route carrying penalties; it is not a promised unlock time.

  1. Record current effective gain over a short fixed interval.
  2. Read the next upgrade’s full cost and effect.
  3. Compute the incremental gain using the existing equipped Trail.
  4. Keep enough cash for the next useful pet or capacity upgrade.
  5. Repeat the measurement after buying only one upgrade.

Common questions

Should I always buy the largest Trail first?

No. Compare its incremental training gain and full price with the available treadmill and income upgrades.
