Steal An Egg Luminous: Separate Variant and Pool
Distinguish the historical Angels/Demons pool changes from a Luminous reroll, and keep the recipe partner you need across alignment changes.
The historical Update 4 seller guide reports separate Light and Darkness pools after night changes, with a Merged version and a Luminous Egg reroll. Alignment decides which reported pool is available; it does not establish a guaranteed Luminous result.
Choose the useful next move
These systems answer different collection questions. A player missing a Dark shrine partner needs access to its reported pool. A player chasing a Luminous variant needs the relevant special-egg route and an uncertain outcome. Treating both goals as the same “rare egg” task can leave you collecting attractive items that do not fill the missing recipe.
The source describes the Luminous Egg as replacing the Monster Egg in Update 4 and offering a rare variant reroll. It does not provide enough evidence here for a current chance or a guaranteed attempt count. Preserve the item’s exact name and the event version rather than importing a Hungry Monster recipe or later Lab rule because both involve special eggs.
Run the plan in order
- Write whether the goal is a missing Light/Dark partner, a Luminous variant or a broader collection entry.
- Inspect the active biome variant and the egg pool visible in the current interface.
- Keep eligible shrine partners already owned instead of spending them while waiting for the opposite alignment.
- For a Luminous-labelled egg, read its actual outcome or reroll description and distinguish the special variant from the normal species.
- After hatching or a pool change, update the specific collection gap; repeat only a route that serves the goal you selected.

| Situation | Choice | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Need a Dark shrine partner | Follow the active Dark pool | A Light duplicate does not fill that recipe |
| Merged variant appears | Inspect both available sides | The source reports combined pools, not guaranteed rare drops |
| Luminous outcome fails | Record an attempt without an invented rate | Rare does not mean due on the next try |
| Old Monster instructions surface | Keep Update 4 scope attached | The item route was reported as replaced |
When the plan needs changing
A pool change may justify waiting or switching the current objective, but it does not prove that a specific egg will spawn next. Do not derive a personal outcome from a night countdown or calculate an income multiple for a variant whose current card you have not inspected. This guide is a historical system distinction and a collection plan; it is not a complete current roster, current event calendar or tested luck strategy.
